DOWNTOWN MESA BBQ CLASSIC

November is a prime tourism month in Arizona and usually offers superb weather conditions for visitors. Here’s our barbeque-related schedule:

The Downtown Mesa BBQ Classic is a sanctioned KCBS competition. You must have a current KCBS membership to participate. We’ll offer 3 contests: One-Meat, Masters Series, and People’s Choice.

Friday, November 3 will be a one-meat pork ribs competition.

Saturday, November 4 will be our Masters’ Series competition (chicken, pork ribs, pork butt, brisket) and our “People’s Choice” local awards program, offered to the public via “BBQ Bucks” that allow them to sample and vote for their favorite cook’s brisket sampling.

All contest awards will be presented following the conclusion of judging and voting on Saturday afternoon.
